DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Summary The pharmacy analytics manager is responsible for leading and managing the pharmacy analytics team, which provides data-driven insights and solutions to optimize the pharmacy benefit management and clinical programs. The pharmacy analytics manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as pharmacy directors, medical directors, account managers, clients, and vendors, to deliver high-quality analytics products and services that support the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities * Manage and mentor a team of pharmacy analysts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytics projects and reports * Develop and implement analytics strategies, methodologies, and best practices to support the pharmacy benefit management and clinical programs * Analyze pharmacy claims data, utilization trends, cost drivers, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings * Create and present actionable insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, using data visualization tools and techniques * Oversee the quality assurance and validation of pharmacy data and analytics outputs, ensuring compliance with data governance and regulatory standards * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of pharmacy initiatives and interventions, using appropriate metrics and methodologies * Research and benchmark industry trends and best practices in pharmacy analytics and management

Qualifications * Required Bachelor's degree in health informatics, statistics, mathematics, or health care field * Doctor or Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) preferred * Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmacy analytics, preferably in a health insurance or pharmacy benefit management setting * Strong knowledge of pharmacy claims data, pharmacy benefit management, and clinical programs * Expertise in data visualization tools, such as Tableau a plus * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations to support our customer's needs * Knowledge of STARS/HEDIS as if relates to Prescription Drug Plans * Proficient in Google Cloud Query, SQL, R or other programming languages and tools for data analysis and manipulation * Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
