Ecolab Reliability & Maintenance Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R00225820 As a Reliability & Maintenance Manager at Purolite, an Ecolab Company, in this critical chemical manufacturing plant engineering role, you will act as a self-driven manager for a team of maintenance technicians in a 24/7 operation. As our Manager, you will lead maintenance and reliability, lead installation of new and alteration of existing equipment and support continuous improvement of the production lines. This role will give you a chance to join the plant leadership team and significantly impact the strategic direction of the facility and will allow you to gain recognition for leading key initiatives.

What You Will Do: Coordinate project priorities and implementation timing with the Plant Leadership Team while maintaining clear communication and close co-operation with all relevant internal and external interfaces as you oversee and direct the project management of up to 40 projects simultaneously, often directing others through capital projects and at times managing projects directly, while maintaining responsibility for the budget and timelines of all projects both capital and non-capital. Maintain project engineering design and construction standards, champion the implementation of Lean, and Visual factory concepts/practices as an integral component of all Maintenance activities and projects, and uphold safety programs that are related to engineering functions such as lockout/tagout, confined space operations, hot work programs, and contractor safety programs. Lead the maintenance transformation as you remove the wall between maintenance and operations to decrease equipment downtime while moving from a reactive to proactive equipment maintenance model. This will be done by implementing TPM concepts throughout the Maintenance Reliability department. Leverage significant interaction and influence with plant leadership to make key technology and maintenance reliability related strategic business decisions for manufacturing & distribution operations. Serve as a member of Ecolab's North America Engineering and Reliability Domain Teams, which coordinate activities in a consistent manner between all plants to achieve improved equipment reliability, manufacturing productivity, and optimized overall asset life cycle costs. Lead the systematic identification and elimination of process safety risksusing tools such as management of change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Incident Investigation, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) while also coaching others in their use. Develop Process Safety procedures; maintain existing procedures, train current and new employees in their use and audits for compliance. Maintain and update all Process Safety related program materials. Lead PHA and/or PHA revalidation sessions for the facility; coordinate and schedule PHA sessions with third-party contractors for large projects and then serve as a facilitator or scribe. Maintain all process safety information and other documentation necessary to conduct PHAs orPHA revalidations. Lead and/or participate in incident investigations using TapRooT and 5-Why investigation methodologies at the facility. Maintain the facility's Action Item Database and lead action item meetings with plant personnel. Trend facility incidents and near-misses to provide leading indicators of where accidents may occur. Represent the facility from the process safety perspective during third party audits, such as ECAP (company sponsored internal audit), insurance, EPA and OSHA. Respond to any findings from these audits relating to process safety. Provide process safety related support to the Engineering Project Manager. Lead Sustainability Program for the site. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or other related area of study 7+ years' related engineering experience, including previous manufacturing engineering experience 3+ years of project/program/team leadership experience 1+ years of Tot l Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience 1+ years' experience improving Process Reliability (PR %) and / or Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE %)

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering MBA or advanced technical degree 5+ years' manufacturing engineering experience Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) We are looking for 3 years' experience: working in manufacturing maintenance, with lean manufacturing, supervising maintenance employees in a manufacturing plant, working with CMMS, SAP or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, designing or maintaining building, process, and packaging equipment, using Root Cause Analysis, managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role
