If so, the Sales and Marketing Support Executive works closely with the Market Director, Management team, and Sales Representatives to find sales, marketing, and educational opportunities to help grow the market and increase sales while adhering to CMS guidelines. This position is also responsible for overseeing seminars, special events, educational and orientation programs, working within the marketing budget and accurately reporting information. Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Support Executive is responsible for coordinating Community Outreach and networking opportunities; partnering with agents, external broker partners and managers to develop and implement marketing plans; managing projects and rolling out corporate programs at the market level; assisting with seminars and special events; managing their expenses within the market's budget and submitting invoices. This position is also responsible for identifying grass roots marketing, being in the community constantly while bringing quality relationships to the market, educational and sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience in a related position

  • Active Health and Life Insurance licenses

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Great with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel. 

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences 

  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits  

  • Must reside within Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the health solutions or financial industries

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher

  • Engaged with the community through service, organizations, activities and volunteerism  

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance  

  • Prior experience in Sales or Marketing

Additional Information

  • After offer acceptance, you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) prior to your start date 

  • Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
