Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Physician Assistant for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Atlantic Medical Group Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team supporting the Interventional Spine Practice. The PA would collaborate with a highly skilled physician working at outpatient practices in Phillipsburg and Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced physician assistant interested in working for a supportive and well-established PM&R team.

The primary role of the PA is to obtain patient history, conduct physical examination, order diagnostics and implement a treatment plan. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Epic EMR, and have experience with interventional spine, or sports injuries. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule and limited at home call.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s & Master’s degree required

  • Physician Assistant from an accredited institution

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

  • ACLS and BLS required

  • 1 year of Musculoskeletal and/or PM&R experience is preferred

  • Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
