As an OA/CTS Admissions Counselor, you will be at the forefront of

Responsibilities:
Student Outreach: Actively engage with potential students
through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and

offerings, admission requirements, and any other relevant details.
Individualized Counseling: Conduct one-on-one counseling

prospective student, offering personalized guidance on program

Application Processing: Manage the admissions application
process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required
documentation.
Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with various
departments within Phoenix Job Corps, including academic and
vocational programs, to coordinate and facilitate a seamless
transition for admitted students.
Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain positive
relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other
stakeholders to enhance awareness and facilitate student
recruitment.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of
prospective and admitted students, ensuring compliance with data
protection and privacy regulations.

Qualifications
Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education,
social science, communications or closely related field and two years
related experience required. Bachelors degree in human services,
psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or
closely related field preferred. Experience may include successful Job
Corps enrollment or successful enrollment in other youth development
programs.
