The Brand Manager supports the Sr. Director of Brand Management with
deliverables to maximize revenue and profitability by fully leveraging
the Exclusive Brand portfolio. (S)he is responsible for providing
valuable support leading projects and tasks that contribute and help the
team achieve organization goals. This includes gathering, coordinating
and distributing relevant data to key stakeholders. In addition, the
Brand Manager is responsible for leading selected product releases and
campaigns on approval from the Sr. Director.
Essential Duties:
- Apply industry, field sales and end user insights into marketing
campaign planning to drive thought leadership and innovation.
- Lead the development for elements such as: Point of Sale,
Promotions, and digital content materials.
- Gather, compile and review data to help analyze product and campaign
performance.
- Provide monthly Brand analysis.
- Liaise with Branch marketing teams to convert corporate strategy
into field execution.
- Liaise and manage the day-to-day relationship between Marketing,
Category Management and Branches.
- Lead the development of marketing decks.
- Maintain product specifications and manage GS1 compliance for
Exclusive Brand portfolio.
- Communicate key dates and timelines to stakeholders.
- Lead the trafficking of marketing assets within deadline.
- Coordinate meetings and calls both in person and virtual; manage
agenda and action items/follow up. Flag and appropriately elevate
any issues.
- Gather and communicate competitor activity and trends.
- Communicate and help manage calendars and key dates to all team
members and the Branches.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Exclusive Brand portfolio in
order to maximize the commercial potential
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or
related field, and at least four years of marketing experience, or
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven to build effective relationships
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Creative thinking and ability to collaborate in a creative
environment
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the
business
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint)
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department
which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
