The CNC Maintenance and Repair Technician will repair critical
equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance and complete
projects such as mechanical hardware upgrades. Along with this, they
communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally with customers on
important repair steps taken, parts ordered and time estimated until
completion. Plus, they repair/replace defective equipment,
overhaul/rebuild and assemble a wide variety of plant equipment to
include CNCmachines, hydraulics, modular assembly equipment,
precision-built machines, material handling equipment, stationary
generator sets and process equipment.\

The CNC Maintenance Technicians primary responsibility is
troubleshooting CNC equipment and ensuring Planned Maintenance (PM)
procedures are completed. The technician will also support the
documentation of PM procedures. Additionally, the qualified incumbent
will:
- Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machine and Machining Centers
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment
and controls
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical,
pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and
vendor resources to research machine issues
- Identify and replace parts as necessary
- Complete testing and adjust of parts as needed
- Complete planned and preventative procedures
- Perform PM
- Repair and maintain manual machines
- Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to
ensure timely and accurate completion of work
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions
- In conjunction with production, develop PM schedule
- General facilities maintenance
