We are looking to fill the role of Fall Protection Installation Field
Supervisor to perform the installation of LJB fall projection projects,
but also supervise, schedule, and coordinate the field work of the
onsite team.
Pay: 75,000 - 135,000
FALL PROTECTION INSTALLATION FIELD SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participates in hands on installation of LJB fall protection systems
with the team onsite. Please see physical requirements.
- Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, directs, and participates
in activities regarding installation and maintenance fall protection
systems while on the job site.
- Complete work at heights, such as on rooftops, elevated platforms,
or other areas where fall protection personal protective equipment
may be required for safety if other guards are not in place.
- Orders and purchases any additional required materials and equipment
based upon the project requirements, while on the work site.
- While overseeing and participating at the project/work site with our
team of employees, they will ensure safety standards are followed
and quality work is being performed by all in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, contractors, and
design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work
procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues while on
the client site performing the installation.
- Manages and leads actions that are necessary due to delays, bad
weather or emergencies at the installation sites.
- Identifies and recommends solutions for field installation problems,
as required.
- Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of
ensuring availability, function, and safety.
- Participates in initial planning stage by collaborating with
clients, architects, engineers, or other involved parties, as
needed.
- Collaborates with design professionals to determine project
requirements and procedures, and the required materials and works.
Additional Responsibilities and Duties:
- Willingness to travel (overnight stays based on supported projects)
to various US-based locations.
- Thorough understanding of construction trades and installation work
- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve
efficiency.
- Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other
construction drawings so that they can direct the fall protection
installation project.
- Desire to innovate and solve difficult problems from inception to
final deliverable.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Other duties as assigned.
FALL PROTECTION INSTALLATION FIELD SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree
preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience with working at heights and using fall protection
equipment properly, required.
- Prior experience with fall protection installation projects
required.
- Training in construction ma agement preferred, but not required.
- Five+ years of supervisory experience within installation or
construction fields
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to install fall protection
- Experience with scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts
- Understands, has training in OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and MVR check
Physical:
- Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and
bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections and
install fall protection.
- Understands the exposure to characteristic construction site
dangers.
- Must be able up to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be available to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and
other issues at the job site.
