Service Attendant, you\'ll have a critical role in ensuring a pleasant
dining experience and supporting the nutritional needs of our dynamic

Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation and Service:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious and delicious
meals for students and staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food handling
and preparation.
Customer Service:
- Provide friendly and welcoming service to students and staff in the
dining facility.
- Address dietary restrictions and special requests with a positive
and accommodating attitude.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, kitchen, and food
storage spaces.
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic food
service environment.
Menu Planning Support:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to assist in menu planning and
development.
- Offer creative ideas to enhance the variety and appeal of menu
options.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage food inventory, reporting shortages and ordering
supplies as needed.
- Minimize waste through efficient portion control and storage
practices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the culinary team, kitchen staff, and other
departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and address
challenges.

May supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student
employees.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with
youth.
- Must possess a valid in-State Driver\'s License and meet Company
insurability requirements.
- CDL preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking,
lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and
crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the
ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary
assistance.
