This position will be helping support the installation of heater jackets on exhaust piping. The position will include measuring, cutting, and installing heater jackets on piping, as well as running wires for the heat treatment thermal loop systems. These heater jackets contain conductive wiring that maintains a constant temperature for the piping, allowing for consistent temperature control and outcomes. While we anticipate the majority of work to be done in North Phoenix, there is a possibility that support will be needed in Chandler as well as the newest fab begins to ramp up and tools are installed. We ask that all candidates are flexible in their ability to work at either location as needs are determined by the business.  

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

Pay Rate: $23 Hourly 

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Following guidelines and instruction for installation per Standard Process 

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues. 

  • Participating in practical problem solving & heat related issues 

  • Handling equipment used during installation process. 

  • Performing minor maintenance of Heater Systems 

  • Assisting in developing documentation to standardize processes. 

  • Heat Tracing of Process lines 

  • Following instructions of Team Lead regarding work for the day/week 

  • Safety compliance 

  • Running Wire, Insulation, and Installation 

  • Ability to use a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft systems. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of technical related experience  

  • Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet either on or off a ladder. 

  • Ability to work in tight or confined spaces for extended amount of time. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, Ability to be on your feet for up to 10 hours a day. 

  • High School Diploma/GED 

  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification.  

  • Ability to obtain a scissor lift certification. 

Preferred:

  • Mechanical equipment assembly experience 

  • Sub Fab/Fab environment experience 

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed. 

  • Desire/ability to learn new skills and work in a constructive manner. 

  • Technical capability with equipment maintenance 

  • Must be able to work in an industrial setting, be energetic and professional.
