The Controllership Project Manager reports directly to the Aerospace Assistant Controller. The position will be responsible for working closely with the business leadership of Honeywell Aerospace and various stakeholders and external consultants to transform Aerospace into a separate publicly traded company. Responsibilities will range from analyzing technical risks and opportunities related to the transaction to tracking the budgets and status of internal and external teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management on the planned split of Aerospace Technologies into a separate public company
Collaboration with Aero leadership, Finance teams, and external stakeholders on the structuring and execution of the project
Tracking progress on the project and ensuring budgetary governance
Analysis of legal entity, tax and statutory decisions, including engagement with leaders of entities outside of the U.S.
Design or improve processes to provide business finance leaders with better visibility into financial data trends, risks and other analytical insights for their respective businesses
YOU MUST HAVE
Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in accounting; public accounting experience, CPA or equivalent
5+ years of direct accounting / financial analysis experience in progressively responsible roles
Strong understanding of accounting/financial processes related to manufacturing operations
