What you'll do
Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to data center infrastructure, databases, SAP Basis, and network automation within Google Cloud Platform.
Issue Management: Address escalated problems from L1 support and escalate to L3 if unresolved within service level agreements.
SAP Operations: Execute SAP HANA upgrades and revisions, perform Basis functions, and configure system integrations and automations using Python.
Collaboration and Support: Cooperate with vendors and ESC teams for problem resolution and conduct system maintenance and operation tasks.
On-Call and Documentation: Manage alerts using Splunk, maintain technical documents, and participate in on-call support including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Knowledge on Database, Server, Operating Systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
2+ years of experience in databases, SAP basis, system administration
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform, SAP API, Python, and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with SAP Basis, Stonebranch, Splunk, and proficiency in operating systems like AIX, Linux, and Windows.
Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience with automation tools and processes.
Basic knowledge of UNIX scripting and proficiency in G-Suite applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $74,400.00 - $117,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
