Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client in the North Side of Pittsburgh is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a Direct Hire opportunity. This is fully onsite and hours at 8AM - 5PM; Monday - Friday. Pay depending on experience: $50,000 - $60,000.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare subcontract and AIA Application for Payment documents.

• Enter purchase orders.

• Process invoices for payment.

• Submittals, RFI’s, change orders.

• Setting up temporary utilities.

• Work with MBE/WBE Compliance officer to complete reports for submission to the appropriate

agencies.

• Work with the Certified Payroll officer to complete job start-up paperwork and ensure compliance of

subcontractors.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

• Construction related experience and experience with Sharepoint, Acumatica Cloud ERP, and/or

Accounting software preferred.

• Certified payroll knowledge, a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office programs are a must.

• Professional / customer service attitude and appearance.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

• All new hires are subject to eVerify processing and must pass a drug test and physical.

Education & Experience:

• Successful candidate must be a mature individual with at least 5 years of office experience in a similar

fast-paced environment.

• High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.

Requirements - Administrative Assistance experience desired

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

    • Ideal candidate must have adept computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
