The Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) is the premiere professional graduate program for interactive entertainment as it's applied across various fields, offering a unique, two-year Master of Entertainment Technology (MET) degree that was founded as a joint venture between Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science and the College of Fine Arts.
Carnegie Mellon University's ETC is searching for an Administrative Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support with day to day office operations, student assistance, financial support, and other administrative tasks.
Core responsibilities include:
Day to Day Office Operations
Delivering and Sorting ETC Mail
Assist students, faculty, staff with shipping as needed
Work with supplier to coordinate coffee/tea/supplies
Maintain supplies being stocked in the kitchen for department use
Primary Contact for department needs/purchases (students, faculty, staff)
Primary Point of Contact for New Building Owners for daily issues (security, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)
Keys - Ordering, Pick-up and Distribution of keys as needed
Room Scheduling - Primary contact for students, faculty and staff to schedule rooms - distribute and collect keys for these rooms
Primary Contact for PTC Food Truck Information DistributionETC Student Assistance
Order food and supplies as requested by student council
Assist with student council activities (set-up, clean-up, etc.)
Assist with Project Posters and Info Sheet Process
Update Project Info Sheets as Necessary
Distribute Project Posters
Coordinate Project Photo DistributionFinancials
Process Student Expense Reports
Justify procurement cards for faculty and staffEvents
Assist with ETC Graduation Prep, Playtest Day, and other events as needed
Primary Contact for ETC Lunches (ordering, set-up, clean-up, etc.)
Assist with weekly playtests at Hunt LibraryETC Move
Assist with room consolidation and moving needs
Processing Admission Documents
As needed (primarily December-February)
