Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (OUR) will provide key administrative and financial support to the unit. Coordinates a variety of administrative tasks for the experiential learning programs, as well as maintaining calendars and space reservations, taking meeting minutes, web site updates, providing administrative and general office support, scheduling use of University space, and issuing facilities/Maintenance requests. Handles travel and expenses reimbursements. Purchases office supplies and materials needed for the programs. Reviews budget reports and creates expenditure projections. Works closely with the Division Finance Team to ensure that expenses are tracked appropriately and meet requirements of University and Dietrich School policy. Collaborates with the Dietrich School's Communications team on outreach campaigns.

Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.

Essential Functions

The successful candidate will use a computer extensively. They must be capable of oral, written, and electronic communications. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. In addition to a computer, they must be able to use a telephone and other general office equipment including but not limited to fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, printers, must be flexible, adaptable and willing to assume responsibility. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Physical Effort

Primarily sedentary and must have the ability to attend designated events as a representative of the University.
