Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the upkeep of the hospital complex. Support all Facility Management crafts.
Perform small carpenter jobs.
Remove snow and ice.
Maintain associated equipment.
Perform specific preventative maintenance procedures.
Remove graffiti.
Assist any Facility Management Personnel as directed by the Manager.
Perform a variety of routine tasks which can involve any mechanical/electrical equipment or systems.
Assist in the moves of people and equipment.
Make truck pick ups and deliveries as need dictates.
Clean ceiling vents, shop, machine room, roof drain and helps with outside grounds in an emergency.
Maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the hospital and department.
Record time and materials expended.
Replace ceiling tiles.
Replace light bulbs.
High school diploma.
2 years experience.
General maintenance/related experience.
