Job Description
The Mainframe Security Specialist is responsible for identifying risks and vulnerabilities within mainframe systems. Their mission is to maintain oversight and provide comprehensive reporting to stakeholders. The VM Mainframe team collaborates with stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities on clients' LPARs.
Responsibilities
* Conduct vulnerability scans using tools like zSecure.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address security gaps.
* Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Document security policies and best practices.
* Train internal teams on security protocols.

Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience performing mainframe security.
- Experience with ACF2, RACF, TSS
- Experience doing vulnerability scans using zSecure
- Mainframe IBM utilities experience - Carla coding experience
- Qualys IP address management experience
- Experience with VMAD/MyCIO
- Bachelor's degree in computer science null
