What you'll do:
We make touch and eye tracking based assistive technology for people with communication and mobility challenges. The success of our products has life-changing impact on our customers. Our Production and Supply Chain Team helps to further the mission by ensuring our products come to life.
AJOB SUMMARY: The Production Technician is responsible for functional testing and imaging devices and cutting keyguards on the production floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures Build product subassemblies or final assemblies. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications Keep production logs updated The ability to follow work instructions and work independently Test devices to confirm operational performance and trouble shoot rejected items Record production/assemblies in Device Record Management system Calibrate and adjust devices as needed Keep the production area clean and to 5s and lean standards Perform various other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree in a technical field, or 2-4 years of Manufacturing experience 1 year assembly/production experience

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Good written and oral communication skills Interpersonal and teaming skills
COMPUTER OR TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic computer hardware understanding Ability to enter data into a database system
OTHER SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Detailed oriented Ability to follow manufacturing and work instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: See, talk, and hear Able to sit, stand, and walk Manual and finger dexterity Able to feel and reach with arms and hands Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
