An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Senior Network Engineer reporting to Aires Pittsburgh, PA office. This is a hybrid position that will require some in office time.
In this role, you will utilize your experience to maintain our company's global network while designing and implementing future expansions of it. You will analyze, implement, and support computer-based solutions to existing business functions.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the full systems development life cycle for newly identified projects
Administers the Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Internet and hardware
Administers firewall and network security policies to include URL filtering, whitelisting, and blacklisting
Hands-on Manage/Configure/Deploys:
Route/switch technical refresh projects
Palo Alto and Juniper firewall(s) on both hardware and virtual hosts
Wireless Access Points, Controllers, and other commercial wireless technologies
Interconnectivity between muti-vendor cloud and datacenter locations
Virtual Cloud networks, IaaS environments
VPN technologies, certificates, and security elements of environment accessibility
Equipment where for DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, NAC, split-tunneling, LDAP, MFA
Research, document requirements, make recommendations, and execute purchasing actions pertaining to network related projects
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, preferred.
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in general network management, firewalls, and Enterprise Architecture
Minimum of 3 years Architecture, design, and deployment experience
Minimum of 3 years of Data Security experience
CCNA certification preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and administrative skills
Computer literacy with MS Office products, and ability to grasp proprietary software
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks
Ability to follow policies and procedures
