Job Title: Equipment Technician

Job Description

Looking for an Equipment Technician with strong electrical and mechanical experience. The Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) will maintain and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic production line equipment. This is a 1st shift position, running from 7am to 3:30pm with potential overtime, including some Saturdays.

Hard Skills

  • Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

  • Above average computer skills; Excel and Database entry

  • Reading electrical and mechanical schematics

  • Familiar with troubleshooting using a digital voltmeter

  • Low voltage (0-24 vdc) and high voltage experience (120-480 VAC)

  • Pneumatic controls experience

  • Troubleshooting digital and analog inputs/outputs

  • Experience with CMMS (eMaintenance or similar)

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Excellent problem-solving ability

  • Ability to follow highly complex directions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Plano, Texas.

Work Environment

The employee will be working in a Class 1,000 cleanroom environment, which requires the ability to sit or stand for 12 hours at a time. The role involves working around chemicals and may require wearing a cleanroom smock and proper safety equipment such as a hairnet, eye protection, face mask, and gloves (nitrile or vinyl). This is a cleanroom semiconductor environment in electronic manufacturing, which is climate controlled.
