DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for automation and building tools for monitoring, and resiliency for the company's private cloud platform. Managing the platform, which serves more than eighty million customers across the web and mobile. Assist with moving our database to the company's internal platform. Assist the team in the modernization journey with the adoption of the public cloud with chase.com. Address cyber related risks, breaks, and patching for any known vulnerabilities, which put the customer's data at risk. Responsible for DevOps with daily gating and building end-to- end pipelines using Jules. Use automated testing to enhance the overall metrics by adopting different test patterns. Additionally, use Haproxy routing and Gemfire caching maintenance and enhancement to support the platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Senior DevOps Engineer, Automation Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Technology Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages; system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; Java and springboot knowledge with demonstrated complex implementations; custom API's, optimization techniques, microservices, and design patterns; Software Development Life Cycle; agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security; containerization, docker and kubernetes; develop creative and efficient technical solutions; working with AWS services, in deploying applications to AWS; Unit, integration, and e2e testing with continuous deployment (CI/CD); kafka; Linux; Windows; Agile SDLC; Docker; Jenkins; Spring; Python; Selenium; Shell Scripting; SQL; REST; SOAP; Maven; JSON; Dynatrace; Cassandra; Oracle; DB2; Splunk; GIT; Manual Testing; Smoke Testing; Unit Testing; Haproxy routing; Gemfire.
