Job Description
The Out-of-Band Management Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Windows and Out-of-Band management, focusing on enhancing the security of the current environment, particularly at the data center layer. This role involves assessing the existing infrastructure, especially the use of HP iLO, and proposing alternative solutions to improve security. The engineer will analyze results from penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions to mitigate these risks. They will evaluate current vulnerabilities and conduct testing to ensure robust security measures. Additionally, the engineer will review the use of LLMNR and NBNS Windows protocols, suggesting more secure alternatives. This position requires a strong focus on security while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire OOBM environment.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience supporting Out-of-Band Management (OOBM) in a Windows environment
Strong knowledge of LLMNR and NBNS protocols.
Experience with HP iLO OOBM solution
Ability to design and implement technical security solutions.
Experience with hardening legacy network protocols (e.g., NetBIOS, TCP/IP)
Proficiency in securing and configuring legacy network protocols, with a focus on improving Windows Server security. - Python and/or PowerShell scripting
Microsoft Security Certification (SC-100) null
