JPMorgan Chase Planning & Analysis - Transformation Operations Support, Sr Associate in Plano, Texas

As a Senior Associate on the Transformation Operations Support team within Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class Operational and Release Management support for the forecasting Team and end users. You will learn and partner with team members across the globe to provide seamless execution and delivery of operational processes to key stakeholders, as well as regular testing of the forecasting product applications' enhancements and provide deliverables within established Service Level Agreements. In addition, you will participate in release and event delivery, as well as maintain relationships across multiple levels of the firm. This is accomplished by leading through planning, communications, and coordination with key stakeholders.

Job responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Support the daily operational processes and provide deliverables within established Service Level Agreements.

  • Issue and Inquiry Resolution: The individual in this role will monitor issue metrics and prepare root cause analysis to identify and implement steps to reduce inquiry/issue occurrence.

  • Issue Monitoring and Tracking: Ensuring system, data, and user issues and inquiries are captured in appropriate reporting tools to support the collection, remediation, and metric generation for system health KPIs.

  • Support testing and UAT activities that is inclusive of defect finding and reporting for various applications.

  • Deployments of Anaplan production models

  • Escalations: Looping in senior management for approvals, escalations, and risk mitigation.

  • Communicate with end users of our applications, leverage written and verbal communication skills to understand and triage their issues while often translating the nature of the issues to both senior leadership and Technology partners for troubleshooting, prioritization, and resolution.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university/institution; advanced degree and/or certifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years' of relevant experience in Financial Reporting, Finance Workflow/Automation, Analytics/Dashboarding, FwP&A/Forecasting

  • Data analysis experience with a passion for technology

  • Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, can multi-task effectively, builds partnerships, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment

  • Assertive, self-confident, and comfortable when interacting with senior management

  • Experience with project management tools like (JIRA/Confluence/ServiceNow)

  • Knowledge of and/or experience using programming and query languages (e.g., SQL, Python), as well as experience leveraging automation and business intelligence (BI) tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Xceptor

  • Experience with Data modelling tools like Anaplan

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Background in economic forecasting, regulatory reporting (i.e., FRB Reporting) or Macroeconomic Variables
