JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The University of
Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking applicants for a position as Donor
Relations Specialist. The Donor Relations Specialist plays a crucial
role in managing financial transactions, donor relations, scholarship
projections, and database maintenance within the organization. The
position involves supervision and oversight of account receivables,
managing scholarship-related tasks, maintenance and administration of
database operations, and providing support for fundraising initiatives.
This role will also provide database support for the department of
Development and Alumni Engagement by providing accurate reporting and
lists for various outreach activities. The ideal candidate should
demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively,
and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security standards.
Additionally, the position requires a proactive and entrepreneurial
approach to problem-solving and the flexibility to adapt to changing
priorities. This is a full-time, benefit and paid leave eligible
position. Salary range of \$47,000 - 53,000 commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Responsibilities: Business System
Maintenance: Oversee the donor software system (RE), ensuring accurate
and complete records. Regularly update donor information and
contribution details. Generate lists, reports, and analysis from the
donor database for internal and external use. Assist RE users with
database access, questions and training. Responsible for coordination
and implementation of database imports. Maintain RE data tables,
appeals, events, and attributes. Scholarship Coordinator: Develop and
implement processes for the administration of scholarship programs.
Review scholarship agreements and applications, provide selection
committees with applicant review, and ensure accuracy of the established
criteria and funding available. Coordinate communication with
scholarship recipients, providing guidance on requirements and
timelines. Collaborate with other departments such as the Foundation
accounting and financial aid teams to align scholarship programs with
