Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This position is integral to our Infrastructure and Operations team, where you will be tasked with the design, support, and enhancement of our multi-location network and telecommunications infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring network connectivity, security, and operational efficiency while providing support to end-users and maintaining essential systems.
This is an ONSITE position. Please do not apply if you require remote or hybrid only work.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively maintain and monitor network access across all operating locations to ensure seamless connectivity
• Address equipment issues, coordinating with third-party vendors for repair or replacement of hardware when necessary
• Evaluate and propose enhancements to improve network security, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness, including hardware, software, or maintenance and end-user support applications
• Provide high-level user support for IT and telephony networks, adhering to internal Service Level Agreement timelines for response and resolution
• Keep accurate records in the Help Desk ticketing system
• Handle the installation, configuration, and upgrading of computer hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the network
• Assist users with hardware and software challenges
• Manage and control access rights to maintain network security and ensure authorized access only
• Oversee communication services, including email, intranet, extranet, and internet connectivity, ensuring a rapidly accessible and secured environment
• Monitor and manage network server backups to protect organizational data assets in case of a disaster
• Ensure compliance with software licensing for all internally issued applications
• Adhere to and contribute to the improvement of established communication network management procedures, operational documentation, and processe
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar position.
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Firewall Technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AB Testing is desirable.
• Familiarity with Active Directory is necessary.
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is expected.
• Experience with Cluster Analysis is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is crucial.
• Cisco CCNA certification is required.
• Possession of a Cisco Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Cisco Firewall is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Meraki is preferred.
• Proven experience with Cisco Routers is a must.
• Knowledge and experience with Switches is necessary.
• Familiarity with SAN - Storage Area Network is required.
• Proficiency in Hyper-V is expected.
