Responsibilities

The role of the Regional Treasury Center Manager is to actively direct, monitor, and manage all the aspects of the Treasury function within the assigned Regional Treasury Center (RTC). This role reports directly to the Director of Treasury Operations. This position is critical in supporting, coordinating, and managing treasury activities and resolving complex or unusual business challenges related to regional cash management, banking relations, debt management, cash forecasting, foreign exchange & cost control within the Regional Treasury Center (RTC). It requires a high level of interaction with senior finance leaders across countries.

  • Cash Management: Monitor and ensure all aspects of daily and weekly cash management processes are executed accurately and timely

  • Foreign Exchange: Ensure FX data is provided according to scheduled reporting and internal procedures. Assist with confirmation and settlement of FX transactions as required

  • Bank Account Administration:

  • Ensure accurate and proper maintenance and track of the eBAM process, workflows, security, and compliance procedures.

  • Monitor the bank account opening, closing, and signers’ updates. Ensure proper documentation and approvals are secured and maintained in designated systems. Negotiate to lower bank fees within the assigned region.

  • Review signer and profile management workflow for the maintenance of all the access to banks, bank portals, or treasury systems according to Treasury guidelines

  • Comply with the annual foreign bank account reporting.

  • Comply with ad-hoc reporting of signers, bank accounts, limits, etc., according to local regulations, requirements, and guidance.

  • Payment Processing:

  • Ensure payments are processed by the RTC accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policy, controls, and local regulations.

  • Oversee and actively engage with third-party vendors to ensure payments are processed according to local standards and quality.

  • Treasury solutions:

  • Active management, support, integration, and implementation of Treasury technologies, systems, and processes according to internal priorities and assignments.

  • Active involvement to ensure maintenance of the Treasury workstation (Integrity) and bank connectivity, including users, roles, and responsibilities, are 100% running.

  • Other:

  • Engage with internal parties, including IT, to ensure all Treasury activities and projects are implemented according to expectations and timelines.

  • Provide timely and accurate support to internal and external Audit and Internal Controls requirements for all treasury-related activities managed by the Regional Treasury Center.

  • Support the transactional aspects of Letters of Credit, netting, and In-House banking.

  • Review all Treasury processes to seek improvements and optimization and gain efficiencies to reduce non-add value activities.

  • Develop and ensure proper Treasury policies and procedures are documented according to internal guidelines.

  • Ensure Crisis Management (CM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans are in place for all the treasury functions within the RTC.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s in finance, or MBA (Finance, Accounting, or Business). A certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is a plus but not required.

  • Experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Commercial/Investment Banking (7 -10 years)

  • Knowledge in implementing or using the new Treasury Management system (FIS Integrity). Familiarity with JDE or any relevant ERP system.

    Knowledge and skills:

  • Ability to build strong relationships across the finance organization

  • Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills, Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to work. Sense of urgency.

  • Ability to work under time pressure while assuring job quality and commitment by direct reports. Ability to shift - priorities as needed.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Present concepts across different areas of the organization.

  • Sharp analytical skills to provide consultative support to internal parties.

  • Collaborate well in a team environment (interpersonal skills).
