Core Responsibilities: Develop and implement parent involvement programs
for all families in the program, facilitate monthly parent meetings and
activities, parent policy council oversight and coordination. Publish
monthly and annual documents and reporting for the program. Attend all
required trainings. Report to the Director of Early Education and Care.
Travel amongst the childcare locations is required and will be
reimbursed according to the council?s reimbursement policy., with prior
approval. Core Qualifications: LSW required. BA/BS in social work or a
related field is required. Director II early childhood certification
(and experience) preferred. Must have a background in supervision of at
least 10 team members, with proven minimum of 3 years of providing or
supporting staff coordination of ongoing social and case management
services related to the needs of the child, parent and whole family.
Supporting staff in the development of individual family goals,
including home visits as necessary. Ability to build and sustain
relationships with community partners. Ability to support staff with
service coordination across multiple partners to support family goals.
Attend required community meetings. Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic or
Spanish) preferred although not required. All candidates must have a
current medical certificate, current MMR Documentation, current TB test,
statements of CORI/DCF Background check and fingerprinting, an
employment application (available on SSCAC website) prior to beginning
employment. Minimum Requirements at employment: Must be at least 18
