Daikin Applied HR Department Coordinator-Part Time in Plymouth, Minnesota

We are seeking a HR Department Coordinator for a temporary assignment. This will likely be a 20/hour per week assignment to start with and can be a hybrid role in terms of in-office and remote. This person will support the administrative, coordination, logistical and documentation needs of the HR Leadership team. The objective of the position is to support HR Leadership with the administrative responsibilities of their positions. The department is in significant transition and would like a resource that is flexible and open to provide a wide range of tasks included but not limited to: Administrative: Arrange meetings including invitations, room set up, logistics, meeting materials, tech set up, food and beverage and note taking. Support HR leadership in managing team or individual milestones, celebrations, recognitions and anniversaries. Assist in tasks related to preparing and delivering corporate events and activities. Manage executive calendars as requested. Complete errands on behalf of HR Leaders as it relates to their position. Process and submit invoices for HR team as needed Perform other duties as requested by HRLT Coordination: Coordinate the bi-monthly HR connect and quarterly HR Townhall meetings. Work with HR leaders to identify topics to present. Consolidate and work with Head of HR to finalize agendas. Liaison with HR Leaders to ensure they are prepared for the meetings. Support the team in tracking and managing macro plans, deadlines and updates. Collect status from team members and create update documents. Follow up with team members on their progress toward deliverables and deadlines as requested by the Head of HR. Coordinate input from team members to create meeting agendas for HRLT, HR extended team meetings and other meetings as assigned. Complete projects as assigned, including: review, consolidation and analysis of presented information, creating documents and presenting updates. Organize documents and files while identifing improved methods managing the files, including in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Create or edit powerpoint, word and excel documents. Manage work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Internet software. Ability at all times to keep sensitive information confidential. Flexibility in thinking about duties of the position understanding that no task is too small to make a difference Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to proof one's own work as well as the work of others; ability to work in a proactive manner to consistently deliver high-quality work. Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and carry multiple projects through to completion. Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Ability to maintain a mature, problem-solving approach; general knowledge of "how to get things done." Experience 3+ years working in a professional, office environment.
