Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As an Equipment Foreman, you play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating equipment operations on-site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient use of equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with the construction and maintenance teams. Your leadership and technical expertise contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the operation of various equipment, including heavy machinery, cranes, and specialized tools.

  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to plan and schedule equipment activities according to project timelines.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to identify and address issues promptly.

  • Provide training and guidance to equipment operators on proper usage, safety measures, and preventive maintenance.

  • Manage equipment inventory, including tracking usage, scheduling maintenance, and ordering replacements as needed.

  • Work closely with the construction and maintenance teams to support project objectives and deadlines.

  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and parts.

  • Enforce safety protocols and address any safety concerns or violations promptly.

  • Keep detailed records of equipment operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of directly related experience.

  • Must have at least 2 years of Foreman / Team Lead / Supervisory / Management experience.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

  • Requires knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to equipment operation.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

  • Must have the knowledge and experience required to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.

  • Must be familiar with construction and maintenance processes.

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to lift, crouch, crawl, reach and climb in all weather conditions.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
