Treasure State Concrete is looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic that has experience working with heavy vehicles and machinery. This position provides roadside and on-site assistance as warranted. Must have a current Montana Driver's License and clean driving record. Must be willing to work outside in the elements. DOT Inspection Certification and Diesel Mechanic Certification a PLUS.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect, repair and maintain diesel trucks, related equipment and systems. Handle routine repairs, including oil and tire changes. Review and decipher diagrams to quickly locate engine problems. Perform repairs and service requests according to work orders. Collaborate with other diesel mechanics. Interpret diagnostic test results accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS: In depth understanding of diesel engines, as well as mechanics and engineering in general. Must have 3+ years experience. Committed to the safe efficient turnarounds and reliable work. Solid ability to follow instructions. Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
