Actalent Services' Client is looking to add two new technicians to their team building a fleet of prototype electrical vehicles!
Description:
Assembling electric trucks from the ground up
Assembling ground rails and the brackets that go on before paint, it will be sent to paint and then sent back to this team and they install all of the electrical.
The electrical is written out in instructions and this person will follow those instructions to install. Therefore, wire harness expertise is not necessarily required
This person is helping check oil levels, do brake inspection, do general maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Automotive experience is requirement
Truck knowledge is a big plus
Forklift experience is nice to have but not required
Highly preferred: Truck experience in a dealership, fleet mechanic, etc.
Required: Repair and service of equipment is a big bonus (ex: forklifts, cars, tractors, trucks, etc.)
Basic knowledge of mechanics
Need to be able to follow written instructions
Ability to use a computer, basic Excel capabilities
If they are familiar with CAD that is a plus. If not, the manager is able to train on that.
High School Diploma with 4 years in the automotive service industry (truck or car)
Driver’s License
CDL is a plus but not required
Candidate skills
Mechanical aptitude
Basic understandings of an automobile and how a vehicle functions. EX: if a candidate doesn’t know how to change their own oil they wouldn’t be qualified
Attention to detail
Be able to follow written instructions on how to assemble a part
Be able to identify issues during the assembly process and report/document accordingly
