Wacom Customer Service and Events Specialist in Portland, Oregon

The Wacom Experience Center ( is the living room for Portland's creative community. It acts as an innovative facilitation space for all creative minds. As an Experience Center Customer Service & Event Specialist you will work directly out of our showroom/creative workspace located in the Pearl District in Portland, OR. This position is instrumental to the overall success of the Experience Center and will have the opportunity for creative growth and exploration within the team.

Along with supporting and assisting guests, visitors and the greater tech and creative community, the Customer Service & Event Specialist will assist with the execution of in person, virtual and hybrid events as well as assist in the overall maintenance of our space.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain consistent public hours of Experience Center

  • Greet guests/visitors

  • Field product related questions and inquiries

  • Assisting with event execution including set up and tear down

  • Live stream production/preparations

  • Maintain and update hardware and software for workstations

  • Assist in maintain overall appearance of experience center

  • Assist with overall product inventory and tracking

  • Assist with leadership and guidance for the “Experience Center Event Crew” (interns)

    Skills you bring:

  • Interest in design/creative/tech industries

  • Eye for detail

  • Passion for delivering a great customer experience

  • Basic understanding of computer/IT systems

  • Live stream/production experience (i.e. equipment and program knowledge)

  • Experience in special event production and/or gallery experience

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Basic knowledge of creative software

  • Capable to work in team setting or independently

  • Technical aptitude and passion for technology is desired

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

  • Ability to troubleshoot and make quick decisions during live events

    Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:

  • Lighting/AV/Audio experience
