Service Technician
Paying $30 - $40
Location - Portland, OR
Established heavy equipment dealer is looking to hire an experienced Service Technician/Mechanic to join a team that specializes in vegetation management equipment, catering to the arborist industry.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
As a Service Technician Mechanic, you will be working on will be working on commercial woodchippers, stump grinders, mini skids steers, and large horizontal grinders.
3 yrs. experience with either construction or heavy diesel equipment with hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and understand Electrical & Hydraulic schematics.
Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
Possess a complete toolset required for service (wrench/ratchet sets up to 1").
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns with computer diagnostic equipment.
Inspect vehicles and equipment for wear, damage, or specific problems that might affect performance and safety.
Perform factory-recommended preventative maintenance & inspections.
Ability to create clear parts requisitions and document service work orders.
Has good attendance and punctuality.
Excellent communication skills for internal and external customers
Environment/ Shift:
Working in a cleanroom and fab environment. Must be comfortable willing a full cleanroom suit
Sun - Tues every other Wednesday
Thurs - Sat every other Wednesday
Day 6:30am - 6:30pm
Night 6:30pm - 6:30am (15% shift differential)
