The Pall Medical R&D Leader for Cytiva is responsible for driving innovation and delivering new products for global medical applications within the guidelines of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR 820.
This position is part of the Pall Medical Research and Development Department located in Portsmouth and will be a hybrid role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive innovation and lead the Pall Medical R&D Team in the research, design, development, manufacturing transfer, and market introduction of medical filtration and associated devices.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Degree in Science or Engineering
At least 8 years’ experience of Life Sciences R&D, ideally within the fields of consumable medical devices and/or filtration
At least 3 years’ experience of leading R&D teams through New Product Development Projects from idea conception to launch and post launch review
Experience in the planning, implementation, and prioritization of New Product Development and Design Change projects
Experience in the identification of unmet customer needs and translation into product design requirements
Experience of providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to R&D team members, in support of their professional development and career growth
Understanding of global regulatory medical device requirements for new product introduction
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Leading multidisciplinary and remote teams
Supervision and reporting of laboratory activities
