Responsibilities:
Contribute to the success of the Parts and Service departments by re-establishing, qualifying, and maintaining contact with assigned small- to medium-sized customer accounts to increase sales of parts and service solutions.
Using telephone sales concepts, maintain a minimum of 120 calls per week to qualify accounts, update the customers’ account information (especially machine population), and begin to develop business relationships
Defend and grow current active accounts while influencing new growth of dormant/inactive customers assigned through marketing channels
Promote all aspects of the dealership by selling parts, service labor, maintenance contracts (especially CVAs and Cat Connect), and all other product support solutions for all Cat and Non-Cat products
Manage assigned accounts effectively by scheduling customer calls based on predetermined frequency (PAR) determined by direct supervisor
Based on equipment population, current hours and planned usage, counsel customers on planned maintenance/repairs or existing product support solutions that would result in the lowest owning and operating costs
Contribute to the success of the Parts and Service departments by effectively managing lead and opportunity data to achieve organizational sales and marketing excellence.
Develop and qualify assigned Parts and Service Leads (PSEs) where applicable
Manage sales funnel by ensuring ongoing and timely action to assigned PSE generated leads and opportunities and forward other sales rep assigned leads to the proper product support or machines sales representative via CRM system
Assist with Marketing channel opportunities by effectively executing targeted customer call campaigns
Work with management by leveraging customer sales data to target dormant customers for customer activation
Maximize overall customer satisfaction by providing superior service and responsiveness.
Take ownership of customer problems, even when not directly responsible, and follow-up to ensure proper resolution
Act as a liaison between departments to share information and ensure customer needs are addressed
Clearly and effectively communicate with customers, keeping them informed on their sales requests, issue resolutions or general questions
Continually develop and improve upon ISR sales attributes through ongoing formal and informal training coursework, webinars and inter-dealer message board participation to maximize customer experience and sales effectiveness
Deliver legendary customer experiences through involvement in company sponsored customer events, Cat Care meetings and customer solutions offerings that provide value to our customers
