Your role and responsibilities
This role requires knowledge of coupling and sysplexes as well as general IBM Z systems experience. The candidate will create and document test plans and test cases, and will execute those test plans and test cases on IBM Z hardware, documenting the success or failure in a Test Execution Record (TER). The candidate will open defects as needed to correct identified deficiencies and will test fixes to those defects. The candidate will also install, configure, and maintain IBM Z systems as needed, including the physical installation of frames, drawers, cards, and cabling. Knowledge of automation technology and scripting languages such as Python is preferred.
