Siemens IT Teamlead IT Project Management and P&O, EHS and Communications Solutions in Prague, Czech Republic

Main responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team of 16 people (functional and disciplinary) across Germany, India and Czech Republic which is responsible for the projects and services related to our P&O, EHS and Communications solutions.

  • In addition, your team will be responsible for the execution of IT projects for the broader department, and you will be ultimately responsible for overseeing the execution of these projects within a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • You will also be responsible for the process and quality level across the IT service management and for the projects.

  • Next to this, you will be responsible for aligning the functional and IT strategy for the relevant functions and act as an account manager for the for the relevant stakeholders.

  • Furthermore, you will align with global process owners as well as service owners and advise on IT solutions, opportunities, and innovations to provide business value.

  • You will plan and coordinate the service budgets and resources for your domain and ensure that the specified IT costs for the services and projects are adhered to.

  • Also, you will coordinate and manage external IT service providers and draft contracts and will be responsible for communication and escalation management with internal and external stakeholders.

Key qualifications:

  • You have a master's degree in business informatics or information technology.

  • Also, you bring in long-term professional IT experience and sound knowledge of IT service management (ITIL certification).

  • Next to this, you are characterized by broad-based expertise in software engineering and application lifecycle processes as well as knowledge of requirements engineering and corresponding applications.

  • Furthermore, experience in IT project management (waterfall and agile) as well as experience in managing external service providers makes you our ideal candidate (f/m/d).

  • Significant experience in people management, change management and transformation as well as strong communication skills and experience in communicating with top level management are required.

  • Business partnering and stakeholder management skills combined with critical thinking is a must.

  • Fluent English skills and a willingness to travel round off your sound profile.
