Wage $58.73-$65.25 per hour
PURPOSE
Efficiently manage the operations of the pharmacy, provide prescription product and appropriate service and consultation to every customer, and supervise pharmacy technicians, grad interns and clerks in compliance with federal and state laws and store policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures regarding the sale of pharmaceuticals including: retrieves the product(s); counts; pours, or measures out the required quantity according to established company methods and procedures; affixes the label permanently to the container; and performs a final audit of the prescription.
- Assists with and responds in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with CS guidelines to questions from customers and physicians in regards to knowledge of prescription and health related products and issues.
- Offers advice and professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Understands and communicates correct procedures for billing, filling and dispensing products under CMS DMEPOS guidelines. Also understands and complies with complaint process.
- Is trained, proficient and actively participates in clinical programs.
- Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians and vendors, which require the expertise of the pharmacist.
- Communicates and cooperates with peers, subordinates, managers, physicians, and customers in all pharmacy related areas.
- Completes monthly CII audits.
- Ensures timely implementation of company policies, procedures and programs; and enforces professional and operational standards, including compliance with legal regulations.
- Maintains all state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
- Must pass the NAPLEX.
- Must pass State Law Board.
- Must hold a valid state license.
- Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
- Ability to readily adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand.
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs. (i.e. HIPAA, Fraud Waste and Abuse, I-pledge, etc
