The Senior Litigation Paralegal position plays a critical role within Syensqo General Counsel Legal Team, working day-to-day with our Chief Litigation and Employment Counsel and our Litigation and Regulatory Counsel managing the Company’s US claim and litigation docket and leading the Company’s eDiscovery and legal hold processes.
We're looking for:
A team player and an independent thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills and the ability to:
effectively and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
take initiative, think independently, and exercise good judgment
efficiently and effectively use software tools for Legal Holds, E-Discovery, and Case Management
review complaints and provide a summary of the issues, claims, and allegations
produce quality work product with attention to detail
Knowledge:
State and Federal Litigation Processes, including legal hold obligations and e-discovery rules and how to respond to third party subpoenas.
More than one of the following disciplines: Toxic Tort, Product Liability, Environmental, Commercial, and/or Employment Litigation.
Systems:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Google Suite – Gmail and Google Calendar + Google Drive, Sheets, Slides and Docs.
At least one eDiscovery and one Legal Hold system, with preference for Exterro, which we use (if you have used a similar system like Clearwell: EDiscovery, Rational Governance or Relativity, it is a plus).
Experience with Case Management and e-billing software (we use Legal Tracker) is also a plus.
Languages: English
You'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Degree/Certificate or Equivalent (preferred but not required)
A minimum of seven years in-house or a combination of law firm and in-house experience.

The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is in the $85,000 to $95,000 range per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
