Senior Manager, Centralized Monitoring, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Lawrenceville, NJ. Develop and provide overall trial health status with central monitoring capability to support the BMS Risk Based Monitoring (RBM) methodology and Clinical Trial Risk Management. Conduct routine assessment of analytics for assigned clinical trials that allows early detection of emerging risks (e.g., patterns / trends / outliers / poor performing sites) through the review of aggregate clinical and operational data. Utilize advanced analytics and visualizations for the remote assessment of aggregate data to identify emerging risks at the asset, indication, program, therapeutic area, and operational level, to ensure risks are addressed consistently. Assess the reliability of data generated through the identification of missing and/or inconsistent data, unexpected lack of or excessive variability, systematic or significant errors in data collection, and potential data manipulation or data integrity problems within and across investigational sites and clinical trials. Interact with clinical teams to support the oversight of studies through the identification and characterization of potential risks, development of analytics to monitor risks, communication of findings including recommended mitigation strategies, and follow up the impact of any mitigations on the frequency or severity of identified risks. Lead the development and implementation of data visualizations, statistical models, and analytical tools to support business needs. Provide user input to technology necessary to support all aspects of Clinical Oversight and Risk Management inclusive of Centralized Monitoring. Drive the development and maintenance of metrics that inform the evaluation of central monitoring performance and effectiveness. Lead and provide input to continuous improvement opportunities/initiatives within the Clinical Oversight and Risk Management and Global Drug Development Operations organizations.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Applied Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related analytical field, and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Must have experience with/in the following:

  • Python;

  • R;

  • RStudio;

  • Power BI;

  • Spotfire;

  • Tableau;

  • Qlik;

  • Regulatory Guidance such as ICH E6 R2; and

  • MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Share Point.

The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience. May work remotely within normal commuting distance of Lawrenceville, NJ.

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
