AAA Northeast Training Specialist in Providence, Rhode Island
The incumbent is responsible for analyzing need, designing, developing, delivering and monitoring training programs (related to sales, service and role-specific training) within his/her business line. The Business Line Training Specialist is responsible for ensuring consistency in training material design and delivery throughout the Club’s footprint within his/her business line. The Training Specialist contributes to the development of the Club’s training evaluation strategy (measuring training effectiveness, transfer of learning, behavioral change and return on investment) and is responsible for the implementation of the strategy within his/her business line. Travel throughout the Club’s footprint (with overnight stay) is required.
Analyzes need and gaps, designs, develops and facilitates training programs emphasizing technical skills, sales and service skills, applications, vendor and product information, AAA quality standards and Five Diamond Member experience culture. Delivers training utilizing a variety of training techniques. Ensures trainees comprehend the complexity and depth of related information. Facilitates training programs in a variety of settings including formal classroom settings, branch locations, regional training centers, distance learning and one-on-one training sessions. Training programs may be conducted after business hours. Regular travel to branch locations and or regional offices is required. (50%)Works with the Managing Director, Talent Development, business line management and regional management to conduct training needs analysis and ensures appropriate training is provided, learning occurs and is evaluated. Makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of training programs. Conducts individual and/or group training, including sales, service, product and procedures training, utilizing adult learning techniques. Develops and utilizes pre and post training assessments to ensure that training achieves desired results. (20%)Conducts evaluation of training on multiple levels and at various intervals following training completion, including development of evaluation methods. Stays up to date on industry developments and trends regarding evaluation standards and techniques. (10%)Ensures consistency in design and development of all department-specific training materials, programs and methodologies across the AAA Northeast footprint. (10%)Builds professional relationships with AAA partners and vendors. Maintains high level of topical expertise and knowledge of all product offerings, industry trends, department policies and procedures; researches cultural and technological fit for e-learning, distance learning, and web based systems. (5%)Utilizes Learning Management System for administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of online learning programs. (5%)Other Duties May be Assigned.
