PHYSICAL INVENTORY COUNTER
ON-CALL
Duties:
- Help Financial Services perform Cycle Counts
- In the area assigned, quickly and accurately count inventory on-hand
- Identify unsaleable merchandise during count
- Identify unmarked merchandise during the count and then, accurately print tags and retag unmarked items
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Counts generally occur Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM or 10 PM during non-rush periods in the store. With prior arrangement, beginning and ending time on any given day has some flexibility.
- Counts at some locations may be scheduled for Saturdays, weekdays or weekends to meet the needs of the specific location.
- Participation in more than half of the scheduled counts is expected
- Must be self-motivated and work well independently and with a team
- Must be detail oriented, observant, and able to discern small differences
- Must be able to follow directions involving several steps to complete a task
- Must be able to spend most of your shift handling merchandise with some reaching and squatting as necessary
- Must be able to stand or walk most of your shift
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion
- The following equipment is used: hand held scanner, pricing guns, tag printers
- The following machinery may be used: hand truck, ladder, Joey
