Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures
Work independently, or with others, to complete full service oil
changes on automotive vehicles and heavy equipment
The lube technician must ensure that only the proper gaskets and drain
plugs are installed, the vehicle is greased, the gear boxes checked, the
oil filter is tight, and there are no leaks after installation
When using the lube trucks always check the paper work, ERG book and
FMCSR book and make sure they are in the lube truck
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
When you are filling up out of the main shop fuel tanks write your
mileage, unit number and gallons on your oiler daily service report
Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed; All
paperwork on oil changes must be turned in at the end of every day
All oiler reports must be turned in at the end of every week
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Service experience 1 year
Possession of or ability to obtain training credentials
Class B CDL and HAZMAT required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills
Experience using hand and power tools to help service vehicles and equipment
