Job Summary: Petrochem is currently seeking an Office Manager in Pulaski, PA to support the Pennsylvania operations office with their day-to-day functions. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable ensuring timely billing on multiple construction projects

  • Manage Accounts Payable ensuring issuance of purchase orders, processing vendors invoices using 3-way match

  • Provide back-up support for payroll

  • Assist and provide support to the Branch Manager and Project Managers

  • Oversee office operations including supplies, equipment, and maintenance

  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents

  • Assist with internal and external audits

  • Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

  • Performs continuous evaluation of current processes and offers recommendations for process improvements

Key Requirements and Education Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience. Construction industry experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge with Viewpoint Vista ERP a plus

  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and math skills

  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties

  • Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines

  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards
