Franklin County Ag Research Assistant Available Title(s): 570F-YNCSNPS - Agricultural Research Technologist 2 Business Title: Franklin County Ag Research Assistant Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Performs field and laboratory research including assistance setting up experiments and ensuring the proper execution of experimental design, assisting with data collection, and calibration and application of pesticide or control treatments. Assists with the maintenance of daily operations by maintaining a safe working environment, repairing equipment, inventorying supplies, assisting with insect identification and quantification, moving large bags of vegetables, and processing and scoring plants for damage. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in the applied, biological, chemical, physical OR agri­cultural sciences, AND one year of experience as an Agricultural Research Technologist 1; OR equivalent education/experience.
