Blessing Hospital REFERRAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST in QUINCY, Illinois
To coordinate and process all required documentation in support of the physicians order to ensure that the customer receives the intended equipment and/or supplies as prescribed without incurring unnecessary medical expenses. The scope of this position includes all products and services associated with RESPIRATORY RELATED EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES; including but not limited to OXYGEN, CPAP AND BIPAP devices. Ability to work on call rotation. This position will split time working at a Denman Medical location as well as spending time inside Blessing Physician Services.
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer literacy required
This position requires an individual with interpersonal skills conducive to positive customer and employee relations.
Ability to read, write clearly, follow and give instructions.
Ability to use calculator, computer and Microsoft Office a must.
Prior experience or on-the-job training and must be able to successfully complete orientation/training program prescribed by Denman.
Previous experience with respiratory related products
Previous experience with physicianâ€™s offices and documentation
