Please review the following job description:

Perform UiPath RPA platform installations, configuration, and level 2 incident support for Truist’s Intelligent Automation program. Rapidly triage and resolve any escalated platform problems. Perform remediation tasks to address platform compliance issues. Consult and partner with Intelligent Automation developers to add or improve platform capabilities as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform on-prem and cloud UiPath RPA platform installations, configuration, and level 2 incident support for Truist’s Intelligent Automation program.

  2. Lead and participate in rapid triage and resolution of escalated UiPath RPA platform and automated process problems. This often involves problem isolation skills to determine root cause and solution. Variables can include VDI configuration anomalies, browser version nuances, Windows IIS server issues, active directory permissions, network & firewall configuration challenges, O365 feature incompatibilities, and more.

  3. Build and maintain monitoring capabilities to produce metrics and insights.

  4. Incorporate security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.

  5. Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.

  6. In an Agile environment: Responsible for performing automation platform maintenance and improvement tasks. Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value. Actively participate in expressing and refining user stories. Provide automated monitoring capabilities, warranty support, and knowledge transfer to production support. Implement user stories and tasks in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

  2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices

  3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function

  4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices

  5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  2. Hands-on configuration, administration, and troubleshooting Windows Servers, IIS, Active Directory

  3. Hands-on configuration, administration, and use of the UiPath RPA platform (Orchestrator & robots)

  4. Hands-on RPA development techniques & requirements (business process automation)

  5. Hands-on configuration, administration, and use of VDIs via VSphere or similar

  6. Hands-on experience with SCM tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, Git, and Gitlab

  7. Proficiency with SQL database design and development (queries, stored procedures, data models)

  8. Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, analysis & debugging

  9. Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks

  10. Experience with cloud technologies like O365, Azure, and AWS

  11. Understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architectures

  12. Banking or financial services experience

  13. Systems thinker, growth mindset, customer-focused, innovative, curious, creative
