Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Analyst in the Healthcare industry based in Sacramento, California. The chosen candidate will play a significant role in the Human Resources team, focusing on ensuring competitive and fair compensation for all employees. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake regular compensation analyses to assure the maintenance of competitive pay rates and adherence to union agreements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain union compensation programs in collaboration with the human resource and finance team.

• Analyze job descriptions to determine appropriate compensation levels based on the position’s responsibility, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.

• Review and interpret union contracts to guarantee all compensation elements are accurately applied.

• Participate in salary surveys, analyze salary data, and make recommendations based on findings.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

• Prepare periodic reports on compensation costs, trends, and projections in collaboration with the HR department.

• Address queries from union representatives and employees about compensation.

• Assist in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.

• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM to manage and track compensation data.

• Use data mining techniques to analyze and interpret compensation data.

Requirements • Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Proficiency in using CRM is expected.

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a must.

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques is needed.

• Must have a strong background in Accounting Functions.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary.

• Auditing experience is required.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is beneficial.

• Experience with Capital Management in the healthcare/NHS industry is preferred.
