Overview
The NDT Level III will be familiar with the codes, standards, and other
contractual doc-uments utilized at Element. A Level III shall be thoroughly
familiar with the scope and limitations for the technique/method to which
certified and should be capable of directing the work of train-ees and Level 1
& 2 personnel. The Level III Technician will have an advanced knowledge of
product manufacturing and inspection technology. Will consider 5+ year
experience in Level II, with ability to move to Levell III.
Salary: $90K/yr-$140K/yr
Responsibilities
Contract review: Ensure client requirements are met on each project
involving: Review and approving work orders and making changes accordingly
Create profiles for new part numbers and update old profiles
Creating and approving all RT techniques, ensuring they meet client and
project requirements
Department procedure creation, maintenance and review
Assist Quality Manager with client audits
Ensure equipment is calibrated / certified per required procedures and
client requirements
Contact customers with technical questions regarding information missing on
purchase orders
Conduct performance reviews for all certified technicians
Certify & re-certify inspectors
Review certifications for corrections and revisions
Provides excellent customer service
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
High level computer user: Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
Diverse knowledge of Aerospace NDT specifications. Added benefit with exposure
to, Boeing, GE, Honeywell, and Pratt
Familiar with testing codes and standards
Must be able to read and write English
NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities,
technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship,
U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
