Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of EMSI, the Manager, Analytics and PP&L is responsible for providing oversight and integration of all outsourced activities. Examples include PO placement & maintenance, supplier MPS, invoice reconciliation, and KPIs. Further, this position is responsible for improving the processes from procure to pay, and for the development of advanced analytics and reporting capabilities in partnership with the EMSI organization and outsource partner. He/she will liaise with Plan and EMSI to partner on key initiatives that directly improve supply planning and the seamless two-way flow of information between Depuy Synthes & their external suppliers. The ideal candidate will have extended planning experience to ensure connection of closed-loop procurement and supply planning processes. This position is expected to collaborate openly and to effectively foster key partnerships within the supply chain. As required, this position will participate-in or lead continuous improvement of processes that enhance service, quality, or cost.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the tactical integration of EM supply against the NRP signal – PO to Goods Receipt to Supplier Payment

  • Collaborate openly and effectively to create and enhance relationships with the outsource partner, EMSI, Plan, & Source

  • Continuous improvement of the processes used to integrate supply with external manufacturers

  • Monitor outsource partner service delivery including cost improvements, process adherence, and KPIs. Proactively identify and address deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Act as a program manager for continuous improvement of processes that improve service, quality, or cost

  • Collaborate with outsource partner to identify and deploy improved data analytics and automation projects (small “t” – including VBA, RPA, etc.), including the translation of DPS business requirements into a statement of work (SOW)

  • Oversee outsource partner resourcing plans to ensure adherence to functional budget

  • Facilitates the approval of outsource staffing decisions, including new hires and overtime

  • Ensures that the outsource partner adheres to the STEM issue resolution process which includes root cause analysis and preparation of information that informs recovery

  • Ensure outsource partner is fully integrated as a representative of DPS in interactions with suppliers and internal cross-functional partners

  • As needed, facilitates cross-functional decision making of trade-offs within the EM network

  • Conversion of DPS net requirements into an attainable supply plan for EM products

  • Support ERP system enhancements related to external operations and procurement

  • Supplier / Site level production plans (MPS) file creation

  • PO management and invoice resolution

  • Goods receipt prioritization

  • Master data and metrics

  • Automation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • BA/BS degree is required, preferable in Business or Supply Chain

  • 8-10 years of related experience are required.

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certification/licenses.

  • Excellent collaboration and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence is required

  • Direct experience managing suppliers with excellent knowledge of Plan, ERP, and Procurement is required

  • Strong written and oral communication skills (English) with ability to confidently present complex information to multiple stakeholders is required

  • Lean / Six Sigma & Project Management Certifications are preferred.

  • Proven record of creative problem-solving, structured issue resolution, and sound judgement is required

  • Proactive customer-focus behaviors is required

Location and Travel requirements

  • Ireland, Zuchwill, Raynham, Westchester, Bridgewater, Warsaw

  • 5% to 10 % Travel
